From the start of the opening track ‘U-Turn’ through to the last track ‘Trials and Tribulations’ Lovism will have you on a psychedelic reel of a ride, each and every song with it’s hooks and arrangements taking you on an exceptional musical travelogue of truly inspired song writing heartfelt and warming a perfect and fitting follow on from his previous release the ‘Jay Stansfield EP’. Jay has masterminded an album of true beauty verging on the pure emotional, his voice reaches almost critical in places expressing the feeling put behind the writing of the album and it all comes together to make ‘Lovism’
LOVISM is a captivating swirl of psychedelic emotive folk, a well crafted and truly inspired collection of songs that take you on a musical journey, a trip if you will in glorious technicolour, reminiscent of days gone by but that sit almost perfectly in the here and now.
